Consumer arbitration board of the European Union: With Regulation No. 524/2013, the European Union has set up an arbitration board for the online settlement of consumer disputes. The so-called OS platform serves as a central contact point for consumers and businesses who wish to settle disputes that fall within the scope of this regulation out of court. It is an interactive website that can be accessed electronically in all official languages of the European Union institutions; its use is free of charge. The arbitration board can be reached at: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr (if the link does not automatically redirect you, highlight it and copy it into the address bar of your Internet browser).
