he DFB Cup is the most important national cup competition in German football and has been held since 1935. 64 teams from the top leagues as well as some amateur teams take part in it every year. In the history of FCA there have been some notable appearances in the cup, but major success such as reaching the final or winning the cup has so far eluded them. Nevertheless, the competition remains an opportunity for FCA to gain national attention.
